Vodafone Italia and Wind have signed an agreement on sharing their radio access network infrastracture. The deal is expected to lead to improved coverage for customers and cost savings for the Italian mobile operators.

The agreement covers existing and future passive network equipment, such as civil works, electricity poles and pylons and energy systems. The agreement runs for six years and can be renewed.
